The QDD-400G-SR4.2-BD Compatible transceiver module is capable of supporting Ethernet links of up to 400 Gigabits and up to four 100 Gigabit Ethernet breakout link lengths over parallel MPO/MTP OM5 Multimode Fiber (MMF) at distances of up to 150 meters. It is compliant to IEEE 802.3 protocol and 400GAUI-8/PAM4 standard. To transmit the 400 Gigabit Ethernet signal, the module employs two bidirectional wavelengths per fiber across four parallel pairs of threads. Additionally, the module can function as a 4x100GE breakout to QSFP-100G-SR1.2 modules, and Forward Error Correction (FEC) is conducted on the host platform.
