The LO-SFP28-28G-SR transceiver module is a 28G SR multi-mode using 850nm wavelength and equipped with LC duplex connectors, reaching a link up to 100m over laser-optimized OM4 multimode fiber (70m over OM3 MMF). DOM/DDM (digital diagnostics monitoring) function is supported on the 28G SFP28 fiber optic transceiver to achieve real-time operating parameters monitoring.
The SR standard is used for short-range fiber connections, mostly in buildings, wherever multi-mode OM4 or OM3 fiber is available.
LightOptics transceivers have been tested for compatibility with a large variety of networking devices from well-known brands like Cisco, Juniper, Force10, Edge-Core, ZyXEL, D-Link, and many others. The 28G SFP28 transceivers follow the industry standards of the SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472, making them directly interchangeable with any networking device following industry standards.
