The MPO/MTP Fiber Optic D-type chassis panel mount features a nickel-plated bezel and a pass-through configuration, providing an MPO/MTP fiber optic connection on the rear side. The MPO/MTP fiber optic panel mount adapter connects two MPO/MTP optical cables together, extends MPO/MTP optical cables, and expands MPO/MTP optical ports to ensure secure and stable signal transmission.
MPO stands for Multi-Fiber Push On. This connector is commonly used to terminate multi-fiber ribbon connections in indoor environments. MPO is designed for high-density fiber patching in data centers which need space saving and reduce cable management troubles. MTP is a registered trademark of an MPO connector manufactured by US Conec.
