Arista OSFP-400G-VSR4 Compatible OSFP 400G SR4 PAM4 850nm 50m DOM MTP/MPO-12/APC MMF Optical Transceiver Module

This product is an 400Gb/s Octal Small Form-factor Pluggable (OSFP) optical module without top open fin designed for 50m with OM4 fiber optical communication applications. The module converts 4 channels of 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input data to 4 channels of parallel optical signals, each capable of 100Gb/s operation for an aggregate data rate of 400Gb/s. Reversely, on the receiver side, the module converts 4 channels of parallel optical signals of 100Gb/s each channel for an aggregate data rate of 400Gb/s into 4 channels of 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical output data.

The 400GBASE-SR4 OSFP transceiver is compliant with IEEE 802.3-2022 - 4x100GBASE-VR1 optical interface, IEEE 802.3ck-2022 - 4x100GAUI-1 C2M electrical interface, InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA) Specification 1.6 - InfiniBand NDR electrical and optical interface, OSFP MSA Specification Rev 5.0 RHS housing (with the longer body:107.8mm) with MPO-12/APC receptacle and CMIS Rev 5.0. Our 400G compatible optics are 100% tested in host devices, supporting both 4x 100G Ethernet and InfiniBand NDR. 

Please note that 400G-VSR4 transceivers use MPO-12 APC (Angled Physical Contact) fiber connectors to reduce optical  back reflectance. Note that all 40G and 100G parallel MMF optics (such as the QSFP-40G-SR4 and QSFP-100G-SR4) use MPO-12 PC/UPC (un-angled) fiber connectors, so care must be taken to ensure  that only MPO-12 APC connectors are used with OSFP-400G-VSR4 and QDD-400G-VSR4 modules.
